January oh! Seven

Few days from now we’ll bid goodbye to January. Ang bilis. Parang yesterday was just Christmas lang and then poof! Haaay. Time flies really fast talaga. Also, few weeks left and hopefully I'm also off to college (cross fingers to the super level!). And it’s as if yesterday I was just 19 but then time stole it and now I’m 20teen. Haha. Okie, and now I’m listening to Mojofly’s Tumatakbo Weeeh. Nirelate?! :)


Random happenings so far this month:

* Still working on our thesis. Puh-lease!
* January 7. Bonding with my best friend Tin. Pictures at www.kikayrockz.multiply.com
*January 12. Pyrolympics at MOA with Diane, Ian and Mae. Plus saw someone unexpectedly after watching the Pyro. *sigh*
* January 16 – 19. Midterm week. 5 subjects. 4 written exam. 1 thesis. Period.
* January 18 Trina’s Birthday. Fun-Food-Videoke-Tawa-Kulitan. Pictures at www.kikayrockz.multiply.com
* Enjoying Globe’s Unlimited lately. Okie, ngayon ko lang sya na eenjoy. Lalo na when I’m bored. Haha. :)
* Practice driving from Cavite City to Sm Bacoor (Twice already). Yes, kinaya ng powers ko ang traffic at kipot ng kalsada sa Kawit and Noveleta.
* January 20. Practice driving from Dasamariñas to Tagaytay (... up to 80 km/h). Achievement yun. Haha. Ang babaw. Sobrang kaba e. Tsk tsk.
* Was able to adjust with my brackets.
* January 21. Went to Jeff’s place for his Lola’s wake with some high school friends.

** January 23 – 26. U-week. :)

Random things for 2007

Yes, I know, mejo late ang Christmas post ko. Kaya naman pati ang New Year’s post ko late na din. haha. Well, better late than never. :)

Here are some random things to do/ achieve for 2007:

1. Get a job right after college (A must!)
2. Look for a good music or dentistry school... argh! Confused!
3. Plan my 21st birthday with kids :)
4. Look for Wedding Planner seminars
5. Be more closer to Him
6. Travel (alone, with family or friends)
7. Learn to control my emotion
8. Blog more :)
9. Act as a lady (Goodness Kaye, you’re already twenteen. haha!)
10. Learn sign language
11. Continue church service
12. Improve speech (tsk. a-z na ang deficiency ah.)
13. Learn another language – Italian, Japanese, etc
14. Refrain from being late (puh-lease!)
15. Practice driving more
16. Read more
17. Save-save-save
18. Face fears (Reptiles, high places, rejections etc.)
19. More “Me Time”
20. Be strong, iwasang maging crybaby
21. ... :)

So far yan nalang muna. Isip pa ako pero ayoko din ng masyadong madami. Baka masaydo akong ma-pressure and ma-frustrate lang ako. Life is full of surprises. Mas masaya kung minsan eh may mga nangyayari ng wala sa plano. :)

yah, i know. nakakatawa ang picture. parang isang malaking joke. haha! believe it or not, believe it nalang. hehe! ako yung mary na asa picture. panalo diba? :) okie, a week before that, biruan lang ang tungkol sa bagay na ito and then next thing i knew they were convincing me to be the mary na talaga and then eto na ang mga sumunod na pangyayari, naka costume na ako, blah, blah, blah. haay, makapal mukha ko yes, pero di sa ganitong pagkakataon. sa kaka-refuse ko, eto at hindi parin ako nakatakas. nagwagi sila. haha! sabi nga ni fr. jeff, na take note, a day before e kino-convince parin ako, "kaye, pumayag ka na! minsan lang naman yan...". naku, talaga nga naman po. minsan lang ito, at hindi ko alam kung mahihiya o matatawa ako ng mga oras na yun sa mga tao at sa sarili ko. mixed emotions. haha! :)

for “panunuluyan” sumakay lang naman ako kasama si joseph (demdem: sakristan & a friend), angel gabriel (elo: sakristan) at santa claus (raymond: churchmate & a friend) sa pick up na nagsilbing float namin at umikot sa ilang bahagi ng binakayan. naisip ko ng mga oras na yun, "lord, sana naman po walang makakita sa akin na kakilala ko, please?!" pero dahil sabog yata ako ng mga panahong yun, di ko na matandaan kung may kakilala ako o wala. nagkasakit kasi ako, dahil siguro sa pagsisimbang gabi. *sniff*

pero pero pero, nung asa church na kami, goodluck! ang daming familiar faces at umaapaw ang simbahan sa dami ng tao. huh, nahiya talaga ako. di kaya natawa ang mga tao, dahil hindi naman kasi bagay sa akin ang mag portray na mary? tsk tsk. pang comedy kasi ako. sa entrance, sa start ng mass, di ko mapigil ang matawa dahil kay santa claus. haha! at ang pinaka malupit dun, nakaupo kami buong mass sa may tabi ng altar table facing the people. oh diba, panalo. nakakahiya. haha! at, natapos ang mga pangyayaring ito sa pagpapahalik ko ng niño sa mga tao.

realizations: hmmm, charge to experience. what a nice way to celebrate the misa de gallo diba?! oh well, yun naman ang theme ko for 2006 diba? to do something na di ko usually ginagawa. this is it, my huling hirit, i think! kaya inisip ko nalang na i’m not doing this naman for myself or for other people lang, i’m doing this in the spirit of christmas and for our lord. and its my privilege to be the mary and to carry the child, our saviour. awww, what an experience.:)

and yes, i have braces – that’ll be my smile for the next 18+ months. asar!


after ng mass and pahalik sa niño – my ever supportive best friend toinkz who also had this thing years ago, thanks sa costume. funny we both have braces na tuloy. :)

be happy for me friends, finally, i’ve completed the simbang gabi! grabe, nine mornings – 4am mass pero dahil sobrang bagal ko kumilos, i have to wake up at 2:30am palang. grabe no? haha! kaya ayan tuloy, nagkasakit na ako pero di ito naging hadlang para di ko makumpleto ang simbang gabi. woohoo! merry christmas everyone. :)
