February 16 – Friday
Recognition Day at the Fleur de Lis Auditorium. :)
February 17 – Saturday
Went to Wedding Fair at Mega Trade Hall for our PR Project. Pero syempre aside from that, I enjoyed roaming around visiting all the booths. Talking to people there. Getting ideas. Haha. I looove weddings talaga! Wedding/Events Planner dream. I leave my number to Ms. Kath of Imagik and I do hope to be part of their team --soon. :)
February 18 – Sunday
It was my future Interior Designer best friend’s exhibit at Mc Home Depot at The Fort. Magaling. Super proud ako sayo Toinkz. :) It’s a month long exhibit. Haha. (Pictures at my Multi soon.)
February 21 – Wednesday
It’s Ash Wednesday. The start of Lent season. Nag simba ka ba? :)
February 22 – Thursday
Had my examination last Thursday sa isang company. Oh, I forgot to share to you guys that I luckily passed the first interview. Sikreto parin kung anong company. Haha. If makapasa ako ng exam may panel interview pa kasi. Long way to go... wish me luck guys. More prayers. :)
February 23 – Friday
Thesis Defense was okie although there are little revisions which is normal lang naman. The panels were okie din naman. “You can now buy a new pair of shoes. Be ready for graduation...” Yes. Thank you Lord! Minus one problem na. :)
Ang daming nangyari this past weeks. Mixed eh. Good and bad. Pero more of Good. Hehe. Laging pagod. Walang enough sleep. Pressure. Deadlines. Haha. (May naalala tuloy ako. Poof!) Naging mas sensitive ako these days. Or masaydo lang talaga akong crybaby. I always cry over petty things. Pero nakakaiyak talaga ang physical and emotional stress. Tsk. Pero God is really g-o-o-d! Pag na ddown ako, after that, maraming good things na kapalit. Ang galing talaga ni God. I feel so blessed. Thank you Lord. :)
February is Down syndrome Month!
– From a proud sibling of a 21 year old Special Baby.
(Yes, Baby, because my kuya Aian will forever be our “Baby”.)
My Kuya is the source of joy and the bundle of love in our family.
And to those families, who also have a Special Baby like my brother, go out of the shell and explore the world with them. We are lucky to have them so be proud. Our family got used to the usual “stares” of people whenever we’re at the mall or in any other public places. But we don’t care. Well, I’m proud to say that my brother can manage to eat to a five star hotel because he knows very well the table etiquettes. He is very observant and he behaves well although sometimes may mga tantrums parin sya pero rare nalang. Because of my brother, marami rin kaming naging ibang kaibigan. Kapamilya, give them the love and support that they deserve. In the states, people with down syndromes are trained to work so that maging productive naman sila somehow. Some are trained in the fast food chains as crew or in the supermarkets as baggers. Mga inspiring stories that I got from Reader’s Digest. (That’s one of the reasons why I love reading Reader’s.) Tsk. So please, to our society, don’t refer to Down syndrome babies as “Abnormals” or “Mongoloids”. It’s such an unfair and foul terms. Down syndrome babies are God’s gift. So it is better if we’ll call them “Special Babies”. :)
