“It’s all about experience...”
[Rewind] I passed my resume in this company during a Job Fair at school last February and my only reason before was just to please my parents because ever since, they really want me to work here. I just want to give it a try. I don't really care if I'll make it or not. After couple of weeks, I had initial interview with my friends at their office at Makati, luckily passed it, and the rest was history. But I tell you, it's not easy to be one of their "New Hires" because I had exams, series of interviews and had strict medical exams just to be able to join the training for Batch 15 CSAs. And yes, they're the reason why I had "forced" minor surgery for my impacted teeth. :c
Here are the things I did for the past months. :)

[Today] Next week, I'll formally start to work. After almost a month of classroom setting training at PLC, which is, well, super fun-fun-fun, although there was a time that I almost cry and at the edge of quitting the training because of confusions on what I really want in life and other reasons, well here I am, almost getting there. The true test after all the hardships, where else, at the Operations! :) During the training, we've been there just three times for our On-the-Job Training and then back to PLC for some more training. Training itself was a little hard because you really have to study, as in study with lots of memorizations and understanding. It's either you make it or break it after every course. Haay! Did I say pressure and stress? Well, I may not personally like this job before but now, I think I'm starting to like it and hopefully to also love this in the long run because this is also something I worked hard for somehow.
Ground Stewardess Areas of Assignments:
1. Check-In Counters
2. CIQ (Customs, Immigrations, Quarantine)
3. Boarding Gate
4. Arrival Area
5. Mabuhay Lounge
6. Transit/ Transfer Desk
*Baggage Handling (World tracer)
[Funny experience] I know I'm already at PLC when almost everybody greats everyone. Even jantries have this "syndrome" of greeting every person they bump into. Woohoo! I'm getting used to it already that even outside PLC like at the malls or somewhere, I smile and great everyone... "Good morning maa'm, sir!" :) Yay, I'm weird. Hahaha! :p
Working Sched:
Monday 0900H – 1430H
Tuesday 0900H – 1430H
Wednesday DAY OFF
Thursday DAY OFF
Friday 0900H – 1430H
Saturday 0900H – 1430H
Sunday 0900H – 1430H
[Fast forward] Now, I think it was not only out of luck why I am here; it's mainly because of God's will why I'm here. There's a purpose. Work here plus little rakets on the side for now and other plans will happen in God's due time. Woah! Time flies so fast. Here, I met a lot of great people, friends, and instructors, learned a lot of things out of the trainings and workshops, and had so much fun and great experiences during the 40 days of training. I know there's a lot more at the Operations. :)
As their tagline says, “It’s all about experience”
"...thank you for flying Philippine Airlines!" :)
